Profile
Gloucestershire Dance is dedicated to making the county a centre of dance creativity and energy. They focus on creative, contemporary dance, leadership and addressing barriers to participation. The objectives for this project were;
Company identity;
- to create an identity that fully represents the mission and vision statements provided
- ability to deploy the identity across all media types
Website development;
- to raise the profile of Gloucestershire Dance and put it on the dance map
- refresh / modernise image of GD
- raise visibility of GD and expand our mailing list
- clarify range of services for potential buyers / bookers (not sell directly online, using PayPal at this point) - attract investment (supporting ‘the ask’ from funders)
- attract new partners / keep current partners informed
- communicate (share information) more easily (in combination with newsletters)
- reduce costs, eg. Printing, hard copy mail outs & admin, fielding numerous phone calls, etc
Solution
A complete re-brand exercise has taken place providing Gloucestershire Dance with a brand guide and full stationery pack.
The website continued this brand theme with application of the colour palette and logo. Key features of the site to attract visitors of all level include;

- WCAG Priority 1 + Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional coding
- Flexible content management system
